KI- Verse
As part of this project, the ‘KI-Verse’ was developed, an AI toolbox and content strategy to help IMUK students integrate AI tools into their studies through tutorials, social media content and interactive learning formats.
Overview
This project was developed as part of the Content Production module to provide IMUK (Information Management and Corporate Communication) students with practical strategies for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their studies. The initiative addressed challenges such as academic time management, effective research and mastering the many AI tools available, providing solutions tailored to the needs of modern students.
Key Elements
AI Toolbox
We have created a curated guide showcasing AI tools for different applications such as text/research, coding, design/images, audio and video. Each tool has been selected for its relevance to the IMUK curriculum and will help students to save time and increase their productivity.
Content Strategy and Tutorials
To ensure the accessibility, we used engaging social media formats, which include Instagram reels and YouTube tutorials. These formats visually demonstrate how students can use AI tools effectively and make complex processes simple and understandable.
Targeted Student Support
By surveying IMUK students, we identified their issues, such as concerns about plagiarism and navigating complex AI platforms. Based on this feedback, we created personalised tutorials and step-by-step guides that address their specific needs.
Interactive Talk Show
A live talk show with faculty experts also offered valuable insights into the ethical use of AI and best practices for integrating AI into academic work. This format allowed students to ask questions and engage directly with experts on our platforms.
Interactive Learning Formats
Through storytelling and practical exercises, we ensured that students were able to apply their knowledge immediately, which increased their confidence as well as their ability to use AI tools effectively.
Outcome
The AI Toolbox project enabled students to streamline their academic processes, increase efficiency and develop a deeper understanding of how AI can support their learning process. This innovative approach not only addressed the students current challenges, but also equipped them with the skills they need for the future of AI-driven academic and professional environments.
